Location:

Portage, WI fully onsite
Pay range: $35/hr.

-$50/hr. depending on experience

Schedule:

M-F 7:30am-4:30pm
Duration: 6 months

• Your work directly supports operational leadership and site performance

• You'll have hands-on ownership of cost accounting, standard costs, and variance analysis

• You'll work in a data-rich manufacturing environment with modern ERP and analytics tools

• You'll be part of a company that values continuous improvement, safety, and quality

• Your insights won't sit in spreadsheets - they'll drive decisions

• Own and support cost accounting activities, including standard cost development, variance analysis, and month-end close

• Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities

• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate, data-driven analysis

• Build and deliver clear financial reports and presentations for site and divisional leadership

• Collaborate with the Site Controller and cross-functional teams on special projects and continuous improvement initiatives

• Work with large, complex data sets to turn numbers into actionable insight

• Uphold high standards for data integrity, safety, quality, and compliance

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment (this is essential)

• 2+ years in cost accounting, financial analysis, or financial reporting

• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with detailed financial data

• Experience working in or alongside ERP manufacturing systems

• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to both finance and non-finance partners

• A detail-oriented mindset with curiosity about how things are made and how they can be improved

• Hands-on experience with standard costs, variance analysis, and forecasting

• Exposure to Power BI, SQL, or advanced reporting tools

• Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, product structures, or routings

• Confidence presenting insights and recommendations to leadership

• A proactive mindset - you look for answers, not just errors
