Job Title
Salary: $200K-$210K base + 15% annual bonus

- This is a key leadership role overseeing a growing, capital-expanding facility where you'll drive safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while shaping the future of the plant.
- This position will be based at our client's facility in Portage, WI.
- Lead all aspects of plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time production of high-quality products
- Champion a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence across a 24/7 manufacturing environment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 5S, and Operational Excellence methodologies
- Oversee capital projects that support expansion, infrastructure upgrades, and new product development
- Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) through a Daily Management System
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align plant operations with business strategy and customer demands
- Develop and scale manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Manage staffing, workforce planning, and talent development to meet production goals
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to a team of managers and site employees
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements

To Be a Champion in This Role, You Will Need- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering (required)
- 10+ years of leadership experience in a chemical or similar PSM regulated manufacturing environment
- Proven success leading managers and hourly employees in a plant setting
- Strong background in capital project management, including installation of new equipment within existing facilities
- Experience with process safety management and regulated manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices
- Ability to analyze technical and business data to drive decision-making and improve plant performance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with talent development, workforce planning, and performance management
- Working knowledge of ISO quality/environmental standards or Six Sigma (preferred)
- Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (preferred)
