Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist
The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for leading, developing, and sustaining all environmental, health, and safety programs for the site. This role ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations while proactively driving a strong safety culture that protects employees, supports operational excellence, and aligns with company and customer requirements, including IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.

Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in related field preferred.
- 1 year of relevant work experience required.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
Competencies
- OSHA standards and regulatory compliance.
- Accident and incident investigation.
- Root cause analysis.
- Workers' compensation and claim management.
- ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 systems.
- SDS/MSDS management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and engage employees at all organizational levels.
- Effective relationship management with regulators, vendors, customers, and internal teams.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Risk-based problem solving.
- Data analysis and trend identification.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Valid driver's license.
Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a manufacturing environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The job requires very frequent visual effort and concentration, and the ability to move throughout the plant. The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The work requires regular standing, walking, bending, lifting and a variety of physical activities.
