Laboratory Technician – Quality Control (3rd Shift)
Join a growing quality control laboratory where you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet quality and safety standards before release. This position offers hands-on laboratory testing, opportunities to work independently, and exposure to a variety of analytical techniques in a GMP-regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Collect samples from manufacturing and prepare them for analysis.
- Conduct laboratory testing including pH, wet chemistry, and other analytical methods.
- Accurately document and review results following GMP and SOP requirements.
- Communicate test results and quality concerns to production and quality teams.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and laboratory operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related science field preferred.
- Laboratory experience through industry work, internships, research, or coursework.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities on an overnight shift.
- Experience in a GMP environment is a plus.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTAGE, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.26 - $28.96/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
