The City of Portales is seeking a Utilities Senior Cashier/Clerk to support the Utility Billing Supervisor in collecting utility bills and maintaining accurate records. You will process payments, issue deposits, balance cash drawer, and respond to inquiries related to water, sewer, and garbage accounts.
Strong math skills, courtesies with the public, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential; bilingual candidates are preferred. This is an on-site role within Portales, NM.
