Position Summary:
Under limited supervision, the data clerk will input, maintain, and ensure accuracy of data and documents using various software programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Input data into the system, including transfer transcript data, articulation data, and catalog data
- Verify admissions records
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent certificate and a minimum of six months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Preferred Qualifications:1 year of experience in higher education
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Skill in the use of standard office equipment, including computer keyboard, calculator, and computer programs
- Ability to work independently with strict attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
- Ability to understand and follow established procedures and regulations
Working Conditions:
Work is sedentary in nature and at times requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a consistent amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Condition of Employment:Must pass a pre-employment background check.
