Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel assignment at a rural community acute care hospital in New Mexico, with nights schedule and occasional charge nurse responsibilities.

Job Details

• Rural community acute care hospital setting,

• Covers adult Med/Surg, pediatric Med/Surg, and PCU patient populations,

• Pediatric admissions are possible,

• Typical patient ratio of 5:1 with Avel tele-intensivist support available,

• Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active NM RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current BLS and PALS certifications required,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

Additional Information

• Occasional charge nurse duties are required,

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is not required but is considered a helpful asset,

• COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this position,
