Job Description
Join a rural community acute care hospital in New Mexico as a registered nurse specializing in Medical‑Surgical care during overnight shifts. This 13‑week travel assignment offers the chance to work 12‑hour nights from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., providing critical patient care in a close‑knit setting.
Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive medical‑surgical nursing care to patients with a typical ratio of 5:1.
- Use tele‑intensive care systems and assume occasional charge nurse responsibilities.
- Handle pediatric admissions when they arise.
- BLS and PALS certifications required.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory.
Location:
Portales, New Mexico
Shift: 12‑hour nights, 6 p.m. – 6 a.m.
Duration: 13 weeks, approximately 36 hours per week.
