About the Position
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work as a Charge Nurse in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The RN will be responsible for overseeing daily shift operations, supporting bedside staff, assigning patient loads, ensuring appropriate triage and patient flow, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities include rapid assessment and treatment of emergency patients, coordination with physicians and ancillary departments, managing critical situations, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills, critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to manage high-acuity patients in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

Active California RN License (required at submission)

MICN Certification Required

Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Room experience

Prior Charge RN experience Required

BLS, ACLS, PALS required (TNCC preferred)
