We are seeking an exceptional Traveling Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team in Porterville, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and compassionate RN to provide top-notch patient care in a fast-paced OR setting.
Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Operating Room Registered Nurse who can thrive in a dynamic environment, ensuring the highest level of care and safety for patients undergoing surgery. As a Traveling OR RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, procedures, and healthcare teams, expanding your expertise and enhancing your career.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgery by conducting pre-operative assessments, administering medications, and providing emotional support
- Care for patients during surgery, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain accurate records, including surgical reports, medication administration, and patient outcomes
- Current RN licensure in the state of California
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
