Westaff Hiring CNC Programmer for Rubber Manufacturer in Portland, CT!
Shift &
Schedule:
- 6am–2:30pm Mon-Fri (possible OT as needed)
- Pay Rate: $25-30/hr (based on experience)
CNC Programmer Requirements &
Job Duties:
- Previous CNC programming experience (rubber or plastics manufacturing strongly preferred)
- Ability to create, read, and adjust CNC machine programs (G-code/M-code) for rubber molding, cutting, or shaping applications
- Set up, operate, and fine-tune CNC machinery to ensure precise production of rubber components
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling, speeds, and feeds specific to rubber materials
- Perform machine offsets, tooling changes, and routine maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and material specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting as needed
