Quality Inspector
Cheshire, CT | Direct Hire | $25–$30/hr
Marion Manufacturing is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our precision manufacturing team in Cheshire, CT. This is a great opportunity for an experienced quality professional who enjoys working directly with production and taking ownership of product quality.
What You'll Do
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of precision manufactured parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and inspection requirements.
Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and part quality.
Identify and document non-conforming material and work with production to resolve quality issues.
Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
Support first-piece and production inspections.
Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain consistent product quality.
Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area.
What We're Looking For
Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision inspection equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with production.
Experience with GD&T and manufacturing quality systems is a plus.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 is a plus.
