Finance & Accounting Analyst / Accounting Manager About the Role

Our client is seeking a Finance & Accounting Analyst / Accounting Manager to join their Finance team. This is a senior individual contributor role supporting accounting operations and financial analysis without direct supervisory responsibilities.

The position supports month-end close and day-to-day accounting activities, including invoicing, collections, expense reporting, and cash disbursements, while also contributing to financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Prepare customer invoices, monitor collections, and support working capital management.
• Review employee expense reports and support cash disbursement processes.
• Support month-end close, including journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare internal and corporate financial reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and accounting controls.
• Partner with the CFO and department leaders on budgeting, financial analysis, and business decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting, finance, or combined finance and accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statement reporting, and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and finance/accounting workflows.
• Experience with invoicing, collections, expense reporting, and cash disbursements.
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, account analysis, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cash flow analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with in a manufacturing, technology, industrial, or other operational business environment.
• Experience with process improvement, reporting enhancements, or automation.
• Experience with Net Suite, Oracle, Salesforce, Expensify, Square, or similar systems.
• CPA, MBA, MS Accounting, or active pursuit of professional certification preferred.
