Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting patients during their most important health journeys? Maine Health is seeking aPatient Service Coordinator to join our Cardiovascular Surgery team in Portland.
In this vital role, you will be the front-line support for patients undergoing open-heart surgery, assisting them through pre-op testing, surgical scheduling, and post-op appointments. Oursurgeons rely heavily on their PSCs, and you’ll play a key role in keeping care moving forward.
What You’ll Do- Manage complex scheduling and coordination for patient appointments and procedures
- Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, and providers
- Provide administrative and clerical support within a fast-paced clinical environment
- Help maintain continuity of care through excellent communication and attention to detail
- 2+ years of administrative experience in a patient services setting
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for helping others
- Comfort with electronic medical records and scheduling systems
- Ability to work onsite with limited remote flexibility after 1 year of on-site training

The pay range for this position is $21.09to $27.12 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
