For a limited time Maine Health is offering a $3,000 sign on bonuses for
Nursing Unit Secretaries:

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time NUS position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 6:30AM to 3:00PM
Remote:

On-site only (no remote flexibility)

This position offers an opportunity to be an integral member of a collaborative, high-performing team of staff. This position would rotate between R6, a dynamic 26-bed neurosurgical / trauma unit, and Bean 2 (B2), a 12-bed Total Joint Center. This position provides clerical support to the unit including but not limited to answering telephone calls, handling medical records, and responding to patient, family, and staff requests.

R6/B2 offers a challenging yet rewarding environment where teamwork, excellent communication, a positive attitude, and proactivity are expected. This is a great opportunity for those with customer service experience looking to get into the healthcare field! Together, the compassionate Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, CNAs, and Nursing Unit Secretaries on R6/IMC/B2 work closely to support each other in meeting patients' needs and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education:

High School diploma or GED preferred.

License/

Certifications:

Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.

Experience:

One year of hospital or health care setting preferred.

The pay range for this position is $19.10to $22.53 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
