The Credentialing Verification Specialist I role is responsible for ensuring that the credentialing of providers is conducted in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and performing activities associated with verification functions, letter tracking, and follow-up on problems which may delay completion of the file.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)- Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred. - License/
Certifications:
Current certification as a Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC) or Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) from the National Association of Medical Staff Services preferred. - Experience:
Knowledge of or experience with credentialing process preferred.

The pay range for this position is $21.97to $29.28 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
