This part-time Technician role is an on-site position located in Portland, ME. The Technician will perform routine vehicle maintenance such as tire installation, rotation, and balancing, oil changes, fluid checks, and basic brake and alignment services. Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles for safety and performance issues, following repair orders, and using tools and equipment safely and accurately. The Technician will communicate clearly with service advisors and teammates, help maintain a clean and organized shop, and adhere to company and industry safety standards.

The role also includes learning new procedures, following established workflows, and supporting an excellent customer experience.

• Ability to perform basic automotive services (e.g., tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, fluid checks, and simple inspections).
• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely, with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with service advisors and other technicians in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic problem-solving skills and willingness to learn diagnostic procedures and follow service guidelines.
• Reliability in attendance, ability to follow instructions, and commitment to delivering quality work for every customer.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior automotive or tire service experience is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, standing, and working in a shop environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record preferred.
