We are partnering with a respected construction management firm operating across Southern Maine and Northern New England to identify an experienced Superintendent

The Superintendent will serve as the on-site leader, working in close partnership with the Project Manager to oversee all field operations from start through closeout. Success in this role means delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
, while maintaining strong communication across all stakeholders.
This position plays a critical role in coordinating trades, enforcing safety and site controls, and ensuring construction activities align with project strategy, milestones, and financial goals.
Responsibilities- Partner closely with the Project Manager to manage daily and long-term project activities
- Oversee all on-site field operations including safety, quality, progress, and site cleanliness
- Enforce OSHA and regulatory safety standards across self-perform and subcontractor work
- Coordinate multiple trades and lead regular site meetings with trade supervisors
- Communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
- Maintain project schedules, forecast work needs, and manage manpower
- Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and best construction practices
- Manage punch list activities and oversee project closeout
- Maintain daily field reports, photos, and documentation using project management software
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on field experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Assistant Superintendent and/or Superintendent
- Proven track record of meeting project schedules and managing multi-trade environments
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Strong knowledge of construction safety procedures and regulations
- Experience with project and field management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk, Primavera)
- Proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project) and MS Excel/Word
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate work across multiple trades
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
