The purpose of this position is to provide support in the construction and maintenance of City infrastructure. This is accomplished by operating various types of heavy and light equipment, constructing water, wastewater and storm drain lines, repairing asphalt and concrete roads, providing maintenance to water and sewer lines. Other duties include maintaining and repairing equipment such as backhoes, pick-ups, dump trucks and various tools and interacting with other City employees and citizens.
This position does not provide direction to other employees.

Insurance

Vacation, Holidays, and Sick Leave
The city offers vacation and sick leave, as well as ten paid holidays. Full time employees earn three weeks of vacation during their first year of employment and 10 hours of sick leave a month.
What We're Looking For
* High School Diploma or Equivalency.
* No experience required.
* Valid Texas Class C Driver's License.
* Must obtain a valid Class A learner's permit within 30 days as a condition of continued employment.
* Must obtain a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment as a condition of continued employment.
