Site Representative​/ Superintendent

We’re partnering with a well‑established and reputable contractor in the Portland, ME area that is actively seeking experienced Superintendents to join their growing team. With a strong pipeline of commercial projects—including tenant fit‑outs, mixed‑use retail, and multifamily developments—our client is looking to add team‑oriented professionals who can lead in the field and help drive projects forward. • Help oversee day‑to‑day field operations on commercial construction sites.
• Monitor and coordinate subcontractors, labor crews, and materials.
• Ensure construction schedules are maintained and updated regularly.
• Conduct daily site inspections and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, field reports, and RFIs.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineers, and architects.
• Coordinate site logistics and manage deliveries to minimize disruption.
• Work to resolve issues that may arise during construction in a timely and effective manner.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes, permits, and safety regulations.

• 7+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 3 years in a superintendent role.
• Proven track record managing ground‑up and interior commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Local knowledge construction regulations and logistics is a plus.

Pay Range: $45.00/hr.

- $55.00/hr plus overtime opportunities.
