Teller, Customer Service​/HelpDesk

Evergreen CU is hiring a Teller in South Portland.

As one of the first points of contact for our members, you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding service and creating meaningful member experiences.

In this role, you’ll assist members with a variety of financial transactions, answer questions about products and services, and identify opportunities to provide solutions that meet their needs. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping people, enjoys working
in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering accurate, efficient, and personalized service. If you thrive on building connections and making a difference with every interaction, we’d love to hear from you.

• Welcome members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.
• Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records.
• Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Resolve problems, clarify issues, and escalated more in-depth member requests to other staff.
• Maintains a high level of communication between members, back office, and branch staff.
• Recommends additional products and services as appropriate.

• 2+ years of customer service experience
• 1+ years of previous experience in a financial institution with knowledge of products and services preferred
• Excellent communication skills with a high degree of discretion and diplomacy
• Ability to balance multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and detail
• High school diploma or GED
