As an Interior Designer II, you’ll contribute to the planning, design, and documentation of interior environments across a wide range of project types. You’ll work alongside architects, engineers, senior interior designers, and clients to create spaces that are functional, well‑coordinated, and thoughtfully detailed.

This role offers increasing independence and responsibility while still providing mentorship and support. You’ll be involved in every phase of design—from concept through construction—developing interiors that align with project goals, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

What You’ll Do
  • Contribute to interior design development across all project phases
  • Develop space plans, finish palettes, and FF&E concepts under the guidance of senior designers
  • Participate in schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, and presentation materials in alignment with firm standards
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and vendors to maintain design intent
  • Conduct site visits for field verification, existing conditions documentation, and punch lists
  • Review shop drawings and submittals in support of construction administration
  • Ensure design solutions comply with applicable codes, ADA requirements, and firm standards
  • Support client meetings and assist with presenting design solutions
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Mentor and support junior designers as appropriate
  • Stay current with emerging trends, materials, and technologies in interior design
Benefits
  • Flexible work environment
  • 6 weeks of paid time off (vacation, sick, holiday, community service)
  • Healthcare, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with automatic company contribution
  • Education and training assistance
Requirements What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA‑accredited program with at least 4 years of professional experience or associate degree or certificate with at least 6 years of professional experience
  • NCIDQ certification or actively pursuing, preferred
  • Strong understanding of interior design fundamentals, space planning, and material selection
  • Working knowledge of applicable codes, ADA requirements, and construction processes
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with Bluebeam, Sketch Up, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines
