Compensation$22.50 - $24 / hour based on experience.
Dates of Employment10 week commitment, weeks noted below
Pre-Camp Work Weeks: 6/1 and 6/8 (20 hrs/week), 6/15 (up to 40 hrs)
Camp Weeks: 6/23, 6/30, 7/7, 7/14, 7/21, 7/28, 8/3
Camp is closed on 6/19 and 7/3 in observation of Juneteenth and Independence Day
Camp
Hours:
8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - FridayFRF Coordinator
Hours:
~ 7:45am to 3:45pm dailyLeadership Team meetings weekly
Work closely with Program Directors and Camp Leadership team to:
Check campers into and out of their appropriate program daily.
Run fun and engaging morning meetings.
Address campers medical needs:
Administering and recording medications
Attending to and recording first aid incidents
Communicating medical concerns with leadership team
Work with campers with behavioral challenges as deemed necessary.
Call parents/guardians as needed.
Fill in for team absences as needed.
Supervise and direct campers arriving late or leaving early from camp.
Work closely with the Auxiliary Programs Coordinator to:
Produce weekly newsletter updates.
Communicate weather related changes to schedules.
Work closely with Camp Director to:
Communicate issues, concerns, or needs in a timely manner.
Meet regularly to discuss general operations of campus.
Lead by example in respect and care for the community and campus.
Present a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Keep the safety of campers and the camp team in mind at all times.
Attend all required leadership and staff meetings and pre-season training sessions.
21+ years of age
Experience working with children (ages 4-16)
Experience in a leadership role in a similar setting
Excellent communication skills
High level of organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Able to manage risks and operate with a safety mindset.
First Aid/CPR/AED certified, WFA/WFR preferred.
Comfortable handling basic First Aid/medical needs.
Able to communicate with parents/guardians in a clear, calm and professional manner.
Previous experience with diverse populations
Experience in using Google Suite and Camp Brain (preferred)
