The Special Purpose Program Lead Teacher provides highly individualized instruction to students with significant and complex disabilities in a structured, often self‑contained setting. The Lead Teacher also supervises daily program operations, mentors a team of educational technicians, and coordinates a multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive, high‑quality program in the least restrictive environment appropriate to each student’s needs.
Qualifications- Maine DOE certification:
Endorsement 286 (Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities, PreK-12) required - Endorsement 282 (Teacher of Children with Disabilities, K-8) preferred in addition
