Water​/Wastewater Project Professional

Position Overview

As a Water/Wastewater Project Professional joining our New England Water Team, you will support our growing water resources market in New England through successful collaboration with our water and/or wastewater team. You will work in a team‑oriented environment, primarily leveraging your technical expertise to develop solutions for a wide range of water/wastewater projects. The role is hybrid and available in any of our New England offices.

• Provide technical guidance, design solutions, and skill‑based services for water and/or wastewater clients.
• Participate in technical, cost, and scheduling activities, ensuring company quality standards and driving customer value.
• Direct and coordinate water/wastewater activities, including multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Coordinate with regulatory and funding agencies.
• Participate in technical/project scoping activities and propose solutions to clients.
• Assist in project planning, budgeting, and establishing critical objectives.
• Work with clients, staff engineers, designers, and subconsultants.

• B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical expertise in municipal water and/or wastewater engineering, capable of providing technical leadership.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Professional Engineering Registration is preferred.

Kleinfelder offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid holidays. The salary range for Massachusetts is $116,000 – $197,000.
