Senior Planning Engineer Control and Safety Technology

We are looking for a Planning Engineer Control and Safety Technology (w/m/d) at one of our mentioned locations in Germany.

This position will be filled for our sister company Arcadis Mobility Germany GmbH. Further information can be obtained from our Talent Acquisition Team.

• Development of technically demanding projects and execution documents for control and safety technology and/or in the field of railway crossing automation (BÜSA)
• Reconstruction or modernization of signal technology systems with different interlocking techniques
• Planning, supervision, coordination, ordering and schedule and quality control of the part services provided by the project-related planners or subcontractors
• Cooperation with the project team, the client, supervisory authorities (EBA) and external engineering firms
• Participation in the tendering process
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, laws and DB standards in the development of the projects you are responsible for
• Participation in site inspections
• Recognition of contractually obligated services and delimitation of non-contractual services (change order services)

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on control and safety technology, telecommunications engineering, automation engineering or in a comparable field
• Qualification as a specialist planner for control and safety technology is an advantage
• Professional experience in the planning of (railway) infrastructure projects, in the planning of construction phases and in the creation of scopes of services
• Experience with planning tools such as AutoCAD, Pro Sig, Pro Vi and MS Office, as well as BIM knowledge
• Very good knowledge of control and safety technology as well as knowledge of the HOAI, VOB and the applicable legal regulations
