Solar Projects GmbH offers a comprehensive range of services – from greenfield development and turnkey construction to financing options, the operation of floating or ground-mounted solar systems as well as hybrid systems. Thanks to our global expertise, our local teams can respond to the needs and requirements of our customers.

• You will search for and secure potential plant locations in the regions of Saxony/Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern or Brandenburg
• You will be responsible for the examination and evaluation of projects in all project development phases up to construction readiness (economic viability, permit capability) including the prioritization of projects
• You will manage all approval and planning steps to obtain construction readiness (land-use planning) including the commissioning of all necessary services
• You will take on the professional leadership of project teams (interfaces see below) including the management of freelance employees
• You will be responsible for landowner approach/negotiation of lease contracts and authorities approach
• You will represent the company towards the project stakeholders and conduct information events
• You will have professional and economic responsibility for the assigned projects in the project development phase
• You will take into account processes and standards of the house, and work with other departments, in particular power plant construction, plant planning, the legal department and sales in Freiburg

• Successfully completed studies in urban, spatial or regional planning, landscape planning, geography or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in the project development of photovoltaic ground-mounted systems (or possibly wind energy systems), experience in contact with municipalities and authorities, ideally experience in project implementation
• Operational economic thinking and basic legal understanding
• Very good local knowledge in the mentioned regions as well as a reliable network
• A high degree of self-responsibility, entrepreneurial understanding and flexibility
• Persuasiveness as well as a high degree of motivation
• Good negotiation skills, coupled with a high sensitivity for different mentalities and customs of the respective landowners
• German language skills at mother tongue level, English language skills are a plus
