Senior Specialist in Technical Advisory

We are looking for a Geotechnical Civil Engineer (w/m/d) to strengthen our teams in the Technical Advisory sector at one of our locations in Germany.

The position is located in our global Mobility business area. We work together with our clients in Germany and around the world to improve infrastructure, make industrial facilities future-proof, and develop thriving, connected cities and communities that offer everyone a chance and drive the world forward. Climate change, urbanization, digitalization, and a steadily growing world population put mobility systems and platforms under increasing transformation pressure.

We develop connected, sustainable solutions that connect existing infrastructures with new technologies to optimize the mobility of people and the transport of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Independent project management of geotechnical (large) projects in all performance phases
• Project planning, support, coordination & organization including control of subcontractors and project results as well as measurement and invoice verification
• Actively driving forward and developing the department
• Building and expanding a relevant network for your specialty area

Qualifications &

Experience:

First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life and for the satisfaction of our customers. You are proud of the role you play in shaping the world around you and understand the importance of teamwork. You are technically proficient, have several years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering, and bring:

• A completed degree in civil engineering
• Several years of relevant professional experience in the handling of geotechnical projects – ideally also experience as a project or sub-project manager of (large) projects in the areas of infrastructure, industrial construction, urban construction, tunnel construction, or energy transition
• Fluent German and very good English skills in speech and writing
• Structured and goal-oriented working style
• Cost awareness and economic thinking
• Team skills as well as communication skills
• Willingness to work in an international team
