Senior Billing Specialist

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is working with a client in Portland, ME, to add a Senior Billing Specialist to the team! This is an excellent opportunity with a growing client. Experience of 2+ years in related functions, and the ability to commute to the greater Portland area is required. The Senior Billing Specialist will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for the following:

• Oversee and process billing transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve customer invoicing issues in coordination with accounting and sales teams.
• Maintain and update billing schedules, customer accounts, and financial records.
• Identify trends, variances or opportunities for process improvement.
• Support month-end close activities by preparing billing journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Finance preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Billing or Collections required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) required.

Compensation: $28–$38/hour DOE
