What will you do?- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients by assisting them and answering account questions.
- Take initiative to handle account inquiries and customer needs and elevate to financial advisors when appropriate.
- Adhere to compliance standards by obtaining and maintaining appropriate account documentation and communicating with clients about items needed.
- Facilitate transfer of funds and securities, complete trades in client accounts, and process checks, wires and ACHs in a timely manner.
- Provide administrative and operational support to one or more Financial Advisors (FA) and/or the Branch Director. Responsibilities may include servicing clients, researching problems, processing account forms and related paperwork, maintaining appropriate account records, preparing client correspondence and entering unsolicited orders in client accounts.
- Set goals that reflect and align with the overall business plan of the FA(s) this person supports.
- Bachelor's degree or job-related experience.
- Strong soft skills including verbal and written communication, people, organizational and client service skills.
- Attention to detail coupled with the mindset of how you can make advisors more efficient and effective.
- Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) licenses or willingness to obtain licenses within 12 months of hire.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.
- Current FINRA registrations.
- Financial services experience.

The expected salary range for the Client Associate role is $38,000 – $60,000 and the Registered Client Associate role is $43,000 – $70,000, depending on your experience, skills, registration status, market conditions and business needs.
You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
