Position:
Teller – Part Time (30 hours per week)
Must be flexible and available during any branch days/hours.
Job SummaryBe a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to the people and businesses in our Key Bank communities. As a Teller, provide excellent client service in-person by welcoming new and existing clients, assisting them with account transactions and servicing needs, and identifying and resolving client servicing issues. Through conversations with clients, listen to uncover financial needs and transition them to a banker for deeper financial wellness discussions.

- Assumes responsibility for efficient, effective, and accurate performance of teller functions in an in-person branch setting.
- Proactively identify and resolve client servicing issues, escalating as needed.
- Listen for clues for financial wellness opportunities during client conversations, and then appropriately transition clients to a Banker.
- Assist clients in achieving their financial goals through financial wellness tools.
- Attend and participate in in-person morning huddles and end‑of‑day debriefs.
- Follow compliance, audit and security procedures, balancing cash drawer within guidelines.
- Review and maintain knowledge of product guides, fees, and policies to stay current on offerings.
- Work on Saturdays as directed by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned; duties may change or new ones may be assigned at any time.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience (required).
Work Experience- Experience in a client service role (required).
- Experience in cash handling (required).
Notary License (preferred).
Skills- Knowledgeable about the client’s accounts and business with the bank; uses sound judgment in client transactions.
- Strong sales and service skills, presenting products and services while proactively educating clients on available access channels.
- Strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to accurately and securely process cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Accuracy in transactions and maintaining organized records.
- Ability to identify and resolve client servicing issues efficiently.
- Understanding and following banking regulations and security procedures.
- Skills in identifying financial needs and promoting relevant banking products and services.
- Awareness of techniques to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
- Collaborate effectively with teammates to ensure smooth operations.

Physical DemandsProlonged standing (5-8 hours per day), use of hands to manipulate objects, communication face‑to‑face and on the phone, occasional bending, lifting from floor height, forward reach, lifting 1–10 lbs., occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
Driving RequirementsOccasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
Compensation and BenefitsThis position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $18.00 - $23.08 per hour. Placement within the pay range may differ based on skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation also includes incentive compensation such as production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
