Patient Service Specialist - Pediatric Surgical Care | Maine Health

Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Patient Service Specialist (PSS) to join our Surgical Care Pediatric team in Portland. This position plays a key role in ensuring a positive experience for our patients and families by handling incoming calls, managing referrals, and supporting day‑to‑day administrative operations.
What You’ll Do- Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and referrals.
- Support the clinical team by ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Maintain organized and thorough documentation in electronic systems.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)High school diploma or GED preferred.
