American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) for a day shift Operating Room position at a major medical center in Portland, ME, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting,

• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• ME RN license or Compact license required - note: this is a Surgical Tech role; applicable state certification or credentials required,

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist / OR Tech experience required,

• Driver's License required for consideration,

• 2 professional references required for consideration,

• SSN and DOB required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Candidates who have worked at any facility within this health system in the past 12 months must disclose this at the time of application,

• Float policy: candidates may be required to float between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed,

• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any facility in this health system (including residents of Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and are subject to a different bill rate,

• Local travelers are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions,

• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position,
