For a limited time, Maine Health is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. This bonus will be prorated for part-time positions. Schedule: 24 hours per week (flexible days and hours), consistent schedule
Remote Flexibility: On-site only (no remote option)
Position Summary
Maine Health is seeking a compassionate, organized, and patient-focused Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our Surgical Care Portland - Cancer Care team.
As the first point of contact for our patients, the PSR plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment and is committed to supporting patients with professionalism and empathy.
We are a patient-centered, team-focused group with a strong and supportive administrative team. Employee engagement is high, and we pride ourselves on fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and manage incoming telephone calls
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Verify and update patient information
- Perform general office and administrative duties as assigned
- Support providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Certifications:

Previous office experience with medical office experience preferred.

Proficient computer skills.
