* Job Description:

** The Specialized Human Resources Manager, Severance, is a highly specialized role requiring close collaboration with our HR legal partners to fully comprehend and execute the regulatory requirements within Severance, particularly focusing on the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act (OWBPA) and WARN requirements.  Leading the team to understand and perform this work is crucial in minimizing organizational risk.

The role involves managing detailed day-to-day Severance administration, which includes intakes with HRBPs, vendor management with outplacement firms, payroll reporting, and finance reporting and managing a team of 4.The Specialized Human Resources Manager develops effective policies and programs in a specialized Human Resources unit and acts as a subject matter expert in own area of expertise.
** Depth & Scope:
*** Develops proposals / recommendations related to policies and practices within own specialized area
* Serves as key contact
* Works on a range of complex issues / programs / policies in the day to day management of HR policies / practices
* Supports the integration / implementation of HR programs across client groups
* Works closely and effectively with assigned HR partners to ensure business needs are met
* Understands alignment between own discipline and other specialized areas
* Interprets data and assesses the risk associated with policies/programs; escalates as required
* May lead a team of Human Resources professionals
* Ensures business partners and Human Resources are provided with high quality advice and support
* Shares expert knowledge, provide advice and counsel to business management and Human Resources teams
* Monitors and communicates the effectiveness of strategies, programs, and practices related to own area of expertise
