General Summary

As a Business Intelligence Analyst II, this individual will play a critical role in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making porting the Operational Analysis and Insights (OAI) product within the Finance Value Delivery Model (VDM) under the Sales and Growth organization, this individual will be at the forefront of delivering complex, transformative digital solutions. These initiatives will focus on inforce and sales metrics reporting, advanced analytics, and modeling.

In this high-impact role, the individual will leverage tools such as Tableau and SQL to design intuitive dashboards, build scalable models, and surface insights that influence strategic business decisions. They will partner with cross-functional stakeholders and unlock new analytical capabilities, enabling actionable insights and delivering enterprise-wide value.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of data-driven solutions related to sales performance, inforce block dynamics, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance product owners, change teams, and stakeholders to execute on strategic business objectives.
  • Develop and enhance data sets, dashboards, models, and analytical tools that empower the Sales and Growth team to monitor performance and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Execute on high-impact initiatives influencing Finance, Sales, and P&L owners
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews in support of delivery.
  • Conduct moderately complex data profiling and analysis to evaluate data sources to determine the best source for business information
  • Acquiring, transforming and translating data into actionable dashboards, reports, algorithms or datasets
  • Performing moderately complex statistical analysis and presenting findings to guide, influence and advise leadership
  • Collaborate with data engineers to perform data validation and testing activities as appropriate
  • Continuously develop and build upon existing in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, company and competitor landscape
  • Continuously develop and build upon existing in-depth knowledge of data stored in company databases as well as emerging trends in business intelligence technologies
  • Works directly with internal customers to refine requirements and validate output to ensure solutions will meet expectations
  • May provide mentoring, coaching and developmental support to lower level BI Analysts
Job Specifications
  • Bachelors Degree preferred, and/or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience with demonstrated success at a BI Analyst I level or comparable data analytics related field
  • Proficient in analytics programming languages (SQL/R/Python)
  • Demonstrated expertise with modern BI toolsets (Tableau, Alteryx, Power

    BI, or equivalent).
  • Tableau experience preferred.
