IT Service Operations & Support Technician Location

Job Overview

We are seeking an IT Service Operations & Support Technician to join a fast-paced, onsite support team in Westbrook, ME. This role serves as the frontline for IT support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of workplace technologies and delivering high-quality service to end users. The ideal candidate brings a strong customer service mindset, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests
  • Image, configure, and deploy laptop computers to end users
  • Organize and maintain IT hardware inventory at the Westbrook facility
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and access issues
  • Support Microsoft 365 environment including Teams, One Drive, and Share Point
  • Provide endpoint support for Windows and iOS devices, including Intune-managed systems
  • Manage user accounts, onboarding tasks, and MFA support via Entra /Azure AD
  • Maintain accurate documentation, tickets, and knowledge base articles
  • Track IT assets and assist with hardware lifecycle management
Experience Required
  • 2+ years of IT help desk or service desk experience in a production environment
  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 and modern workplace tools
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts (IP addressing, VLANs, Wi-Fi, DNS/DHCP, VPN)
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra  / Active Directory (user and group management)
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Service Now, Zendesk, or similar
  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems
  • Exposure to endpoint management solutions (Intune preferred)
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks independently in a fast-paced setting
