Job Description & How to Apply Below

If you have owned cloud architecture end-to-end, serving as the primary decision-maker accountable for the platform and enjoy shaping what comes next, we encourage you to keep reading.

What You’ll Do

As a senior member of the technology team, you will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of our Azure cloud platforms. This role combines hands‑on architecture with strategic leadership, setting technical direction, partnering cross‑functionally to translate business needs into secure and scalable solutions, and ensuring cost‑effective, high‑performing cloud environments.

You will serve as a trusted subject matter expert across the organization, guiding design decisions, supporting critical issue resolution and root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement in both systems and processes. In addition, you will mentor technical teams and help advance the adoption of modern cloud practices, strengthening our overall cloud capability as we continue to scale.

Innovation & Modern Cloud Strategy
  • Evaluate emerging Azure capabilities and recommend where they can create business value (for example: AI services, automation, cloud‑native platforms).
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define a forward‑looking cloud roadmap.
  • Lead modernization efforts (re‑architecture, containerization, platform improvements to improve scalability, resilience, and developer experience).
  • Introduce intelligent automation and enhanced platform capabilities while maintaining security and compliance.
Cloud Architecture & Operations
  • Design, implement, and manage Azure‑based cloud technologies and solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Ensure reliability and performance through proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, and vendors to deliver, operate, and continuously improve the cloud environment.
  • Drive cost management and resource efficiency across cloud platforms.
Reliability, Security & Compliance
  • Balance reliability, security, and compliance requirements with modernization and continuous improvement of the Azure platform.
  • Serve as Tier III escalation to drive resolution (partnering with the Infrastructure team as escalation coverage); engage vendors/third parties when appropriate.
  • Design and maintain monitoring for systems, applications, and automation in the cloud; own alert response and escalation runbooks and continuously improve signal‑to‑noise and automation.
  • Develop and automate recurring maintenance tasks to boost reliability and productivity while freeing capacity for higher‑value architecture and modernization work.
Leadership & Delivery Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end cloud project delivery from requirements and scope through execution, vendor coordination, and successful implementation.
  • Own vendor strategy and performance, negotiate contracts, manage costs, and drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor teams, serve as a cloud subject matter expert, and advance modern cloud practices across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience operating in a Cloud Architect capacity, including owning target‑state designs, making platform decisions, and leading architectural outcomes.
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience across network, systems, or IT roles.
  • 5+ years designing and delivering Azure‑based cloud solutions (IaaS/PaaS) at enterprise scale.
  • Experience translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and forward‑looking cloud architecture.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and guide technical direction across teams.
  • Strong governance and risk‑based decision‑making mindset.
Core Technical Experience
  • Deep experience designing and delivering solutions on Azure (compute, networking, identity, and data).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, and access management.
  • Experience with modern cloud practices, including automation and infrastructure as code.
  • Focus on building scalable, reliable, and cost‑efficient cloud environments.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in financial services or similarly regulated environments.
  • Track record of modernizing…
