In this position, you will take on a leading role in strategic and complex Service Now transformation projects: from architecture and roadmap to design & implementation, roll-out, governance, and continuous optimization.
Your tasks:
- You act as a lead architect and strategic advisor for our customers and translate business strategies into scalable, secure, and sustainable Service Now solutions.
- You accompany international companies in the digital transformation of their IT and enterprise service processes.
- You take on the role of a trusted advisor for stakeholders up to C-level and are the central contact person – internally & externally.
- As a principal consultant, you are responsible for the professional and technical quality of complex customer projects and contribute significantly to their success.
- You lead workshops for requirement capture, process definition, reengineering, gap analysis, and solution architecture.
- You develop Service Now target architectures, roadmaps, and technical specifications for enterprise-level implementations.
- You act as a subject matter expert for several Service Now modules, e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB, or CSDM.
- You are responsible for the conception of complex integrations and customer-specific applications on the Service Now platform.
- You support pre-sales activities, e.g., through solutioning, technical demos, effort estimations, and architectural concepts.
- You take on technical leadership responsibility and mentor senior and junior consultants through coaching, quality assurance, and best practices.
- You develop your own expertise further and actively give back knowledge to the team: mentoring, community, tools, methods, and thought leadership.
- Minimum 9 years of experience in consulting or IT services, with at least 5 years focused on Service Now
- Proven experience in leading large, complex, and multi-modular Service Now implementations
- Deep expertise in the Service Now ecosystem as well as in architecture, platform design, and technical implementation
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) and at least one Certified Implementation Specialist certification, e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, or comparable
- Strong knowledge in JavaScript, Glide API, as well as web services, e.g., REST and SOAP
- Confident in process modeling, process optimization, and translating professional requirements into technical solutions
- Very good German and English skills
- Experience with agile methods, e.g., Scrum or Kanban
