Portland, ME (Hybrid) | Full-Time W2 | $18 - $25/hr depending on experience

Ekim IT Solutions is a growing Managed IT Service Provider based in Portland, Maine. We work with 100+ dental practices to keep their operations running smoothly, securely, and efficiently. We’re not your average IT shop.

You’ll work directly with the founder, be trusted to take ownership, and have real opportunities to grow your role as we grow the company.

Mostly remote, but with regular travel to client sites across Southern Maine (within about 1.5 hours of Portland). You’ll have access to our Portland office anytime, and your week will include a mix of help desk, fieldwork, and documentation work. No two days will be the same.

• Help Desk Support: Handling remote and onsite help desk tickets covering hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Client Site Visits: Visiting dental practice locations to deploy equipment, troubleshoot, or assist with projects across Southern Maine.
• Cabling and Infrastructure: Running and terminating CAT6 Ethernet cabling, installing Wi‑Fi access points, printers, and related hardware.
• Client Onboarding: Supporting new client onboarding including device setup and user training at dental practice locations.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation including configurations, passwords, and SOPs.

This is a great role for someone early in their IT career who has a passion for figuring things out. The bar is on attitude and aptitude, not a resume full of certifications.

• Lives in Southern Maine with a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Personable and communicative
  , comfortable dealing directly with clients in a dental practice environment
• Able to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
  : you figure things out, you don’t wait to be told
• Solid foundation in the basics: Windows, networking, printers, cabling, routers and switches
• Flexible and self‑directed and excited to grow with a fast‑moving company
• Experience with MSP tools or prior IT support experience
• Degree or certifications in IT, networking, or a related field (not required)

$18 - $25 per hour DOE. Full‑time, W2 position. Year 1+ significant raise if crushing it.
