Principal Technical Product Manager

The Principal Technical Product Manager owns the deliverables for major areas of the Kepware product portfolio. Working from the product vision set by Product Management, the Principal TPM translates that vision into executable roadmaps and drives delivery across engineering teams, including distributed and consultant-augmented teams. This is a senior leadership role accountable for delivering working software at scale, and for setting the standard that other Technical Product Managers follow.

Key responsibilities include owning the product backlog and roadmap, driving delivery at scale, leading distributed teams, managing consultant and augmented capacity, translating between business and engineering, setting the standard, partnering cross-functionally, and owning delivery accountability.

Success looks like having clear, prioritized roadmaps and backlogs that stakeholders trust, predictably delivering with managed dependencies, integrating distributed and consultant teams, being the standard for other Technical Product Managers, and being the trusted owner for their areas.

Required qualifications include extensive experience as a Technical Product Manager, a strong track record of delivering complex software products, experience leading geographically distributed teams, experience working with consultant, contractor, or augmented teams, a strong technical foundation, ability to operate with autonomy, excellent prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills, and experience mentoring or setting standards for other TPMs.

Preferred qualifications include experience in enterprise software, experience in the industrial manufacturing space, experience with modernization, migration, or platform consolidation efforts, and familiarity with agentic AI / AI-assisted development workflows.

Education and experience include a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, and 10-15 years of relevant experience.

Work environment is hybrid.

This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to lead in a market undergoing significant disruption and growth from cloud migration to edge intelligence to AI-powered industrial automation. Join a culture defined by ambition, authenticity, speed, teamwork, and the belief that manufacturing can meaningfully improve the world.
