Forklift Operator & Material Handler
Location:
Canby, OR.
- Pay increase over $3/hour by year 1
- Starting rate: $21.50/hour
- $22.52/hour
- 90‑day combined rate: $23.17/hour
- February 2027 Union Contract Anniversary: $24.72/hour (1‑year service anniversary combined rate)
- Additional compensation: swing and graveyard shift premiums
- Wage premiums or incentives (where applicable)
- Overtime opportunity and weekly pay
- February 2027 Union Contract Anniversary bonus: $750
- 4% quarterly bonus based on plant performance – average over $1000 in Q1
- Day shift (time not specified)
- Swing: 3:00pm – 11:30pm or 3:30pm – 12:00am
- Graveyard: 11:00pm – 7:30am or 11:30pm – 8:00am (start on Sunday night)
- Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time per company policy or applicable agreements

- Receiving, moving, and transporting raw materials, parts, and packing materials to designated locations throughout the plant using forklifts and other equipment
- Inventory tracking and assist with warehouse organization
- Operate forklift, pick orders, stage material and load/unload trucks
- Verify that product meets quality standards and keep records of approved and defective units
- Clean equipment, tools, and surrounding area between jobs
- Follow all safety, quality and production specifications, instructions, written and verbal
- 1+ year(s) of forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Previous certification on stand‑up or sit‑down forklifts, with willingness to be recertified
- Comfortable working 12+ hour days
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a hot environment
- Ability to physically bend, twist and kneel in a safe and efficient manner
- Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to come in early or stay late depending on production demands
- Must be able to wear required PPE
- High school diploma or GED required
- Commitment to safety, quality, and attendance standards
- Pre‑employment background check, physical, drug screen and proof of employment eligibility required
- Ability to work assigned shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
- Ability to work in an industrial environment (standing, walking, lifting, bending)
