Registered Nurse - Operating Room Job Portland area,Maine USA,Nursing

Provide expert perioperative nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center Operating Room with a focus on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures
Perform scrub and/or circulating roles for procedures including PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies
Operate and assist with robotic surgical systems (Da Vinci Xi) and equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot platforms
Maintain 1:1 patient ratios across a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
Participate in on-call responsibilities, including approximately one overnight call shift per month (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM); specialty team members (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho) may be scheduled for additional call hours per team guidelines
Document accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience;
Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
Competency in robotic-assisted surgery (Da Vinci Xi) and GU/GYN surgical procedures
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with a 1:4 weekend rotation
Proof of current Flu Vaccination required
Flexibility with time-off requests; holiday time off cannot be accommodated; limited RTO will be considered
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment with a patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics

Preferred Experience / Skills

CNOR certification preferred
Experience in one or more specialty areas:
General Surgery, Orthopedic Trauma, Orthopedic Joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, or Endovascular
Familiarity with Epic EMR
