American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Level I Trauma Center night shift position requiring at least 2 years of trauma experience and a ME or compact RN license.

• Hospital-based OR setting at a 37-bed Level I Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 26-week contract
• Candidate will be expected to circulate across multiple service lines including General, GU/GYN, Orthopedics, Ortho Trauma, Neurosurgery, Open Vascular, ENT, Dental, Pediatric Surgery, and Da Vinci Robotic surgery
• Weekend requirement: 1 in 4, 12-hour shifts
• Float policy requires availability to float between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed

• Active ME RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of OR trauma experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Charge RN experience is a plus
• Candidate must demonstrate flexibility, accountability, and strong teamwork skills
• Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months must disclose this at the time of application
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility (in Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• Use of Air Pods, laptops, and cell phones on the unit is prohibited
• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
