Position: Registered Nurse OR

Why You’ll Love This Role:

As an Operating Room Nurse in our state-of-the-art Orthopedic Surgery Center, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate care for our patients. From preparing the OR and assisting surgeons to supporting patients before, during, and after surgery, you’ll be at the heart of life-changing procedures. This will be a full-time position totaling 36 hours per week.

What You’ll Do:

Work alongside an elite team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Assist in preparing the operating room, ensuring all supplies and equipment are ready

Provide hands-on support during procedures, including scrubbing in and passing instruments

Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall well-being throughout the surgical process

Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation

Adhere to the highest safety and infection control standards

Be a trusted advocate for your patients, providing comfort and clear communication throughout their surgical experience

What You Bring to the Team:

Registered Nurse (RN) license (Maine or eligible for licensure)
Experience in a surgical setting (scrubbing experience required; orthopedic experience a plus!)

Certifications:

BLS (required), ACLS (required), CNOR (preferred)
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to stay calm, organized, and efficient in a fast-paced environmentA passion for patient care and safety
