Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Nephrology

Pediatric Specialty Care Nephrology Registered Nurse

Join our Pediatric Specialty Care Nephrology team providing specialized care to infants, children, and adolescents across Maine and New Hampshire with a wide range of kidney conditions, including transplant and post-transplant care.

This clinic-based RN position offers a consistent weekday schedule:
Monday 12:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m., Tuesday–Thursday 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused RN with pediatric experience (nephrology experience preferred). Responsibilities include patient assessment, triage, care coordination, administering treatments and vaccinations, patient and family education, clinical documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.

Summary:

The Registered Nurse II – Ambulatory role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience:

    One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.
