Maine Health Cancer Care, Blood Disorders and IV Therapy, a member of Maine Health Medical Group, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Associate (PA) to join our inpatient consult team at Maine Medical Center Portland.
This is a four 10‑hour day position that will primarily support the inpatient hematology oncology consult service, working collaboratively with attending physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care to individuals with complex hematologic and oncologic conditions. Additional responsibilities include supporting the dedicated inpatient hematologic malignancy service through assistance with procedures and patient coverage as needed, within a collaborative academic and clinical environment alongside a dedicated oncology team.
Qualifications- Successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure as a Physician Associate or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
