We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine team in a full‑time, Monday through Friday, day‑shift role within a clinical outpatient ambulatory care setting. Candidates should have strong communication skills to help with coordinating care for high‑risk patients across the state of Maine. This position works closely with the MFM providers to help provide exceptional care for patients.
Looking for someone with the ability to multitask in our fast‑paced work environment. The role offers the opportunity to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care to individuals across a range of women’s health needs. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of RN experience and a strong commitment to clinical excellence and teamwork. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, though qualified candidates with other accredited degrees of nursing will be considered.

For a limited time Maine Health is offering a $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience.
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months’ separation from employment.
The MH Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care role provides high quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
MH RN II:
This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, they demonstrate how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level includes automatic advancement after 1 year as an RN I – must be in good standing and meet RN I requirements.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. - License/
Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. - Experience:
One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).
