Clinical Nurse II
This is a Clinical Nurse II vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience. This is a bargaining unit position with 2 positions available.
Summary:
Provides clinical and educational support for the psychological care of hospitalized patients and their families for the purpose of developing clinical and practice expertise among nursing staff. Within the scope of the Psychiatric Clinical Resource Service, this position provides expert consultation and education to clinical nurses and interdisciplinary teams and supports them in planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients and families with psychological manifestations of physical and psychiatric conditions.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Masters Degree in Nursing with Board Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in place or within 6 months of hire. Clinical Nurse Specialist licensure preferred.
Certifications:
See "Education." Current Maine nursing license/advanced practice license.
Clinical experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Three to five years of experience in psychiatric nursing practice.
