Role DescriptionThis on-site Outpatient Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse role is based in New England. The nurse will support pediatric dental anesthesia services by preparing patients and families for sedation, obtaining medical histories, and performing pre-procedure assessments. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patients during and after anesthesia, providing direct patient care, documenting clinical information accurately, and responding to changes in patient status under the direction of the anesthesia team.
Qualifications- Candidates should possess Patient Care and Direct Patient Care skills to assess, monitor, and support children and families before, during, and after procedures.
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Maine, in good standing.
- Experience in pediatrics, outpatient surgery, dental, or anesthesia settings is preferred.
- Current BLS certification required; PALS or ACLS certification strongly preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly with children, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members, and to remain calm in emergent situations.
